We had a great trip thanks to this fantastic couple. It was great to be able to take the ATVs out on our own, without a group tour, and to explore the nearby trails. We felt well cared for and the cost was more than reasonable. We have already recommended them to some local families for fun weekend adventures!
Oh, and no discount or money back for the issues with the 570 and delay. Heads up.
I do a piute trail trip every year and decided to rent a rzr this year. We start from fillmore and ride for a couple of days. I picked up the rzr 570 I rented and took to the trails with my friends. About half way through the second day the transmission belt broke just outside of koosharem (luckily). My friends towed me into koosharem and we called utah atv trails to tell them. They said they would bring me a replacement machine. We got lunch (about an hour) and waited another hour for them to get to us. Upon arrival they took the 570 and gave me a 800. Before i left i was informed that the 800 burns oil and that it just got out of the shop. I was instructed that I should check and fill the oil (luckily I know cars). So i took it and off we went. About an hour and a half to two hour delay. I took the machine and it seemed smoother and nicer. The next morning (in marysvale) I checked and put a half quart oil in and got back down to Fillmore. I filled up and took the machine back to utah atv trails rental. Upon arrival i was informed that I had bent the back two rims and that I was expected per the agreement to pay it. He did not have the rims to show me and said if I didn't pay he would call the cops. I explained that we didn't take any trail that would have bent a rim let alone two. Didn't help. He said that the 570 was fine when I took it and that the rims were bent when it got back. I had them charge me for the rims so I could go. Please don't let the "old couple, small town hospitality get you". Check and double check everything on the atv before you take it (take pictures of everything, especially the rims and suspension). It's liable to break down, delay your trip, and then charge you for something you didn't break. Please be smarter than me. Trax atv rental in bountiful might be a better option. Or any other rental place. A sour end to a beautiful trip. $400 for two days + $250 for bent rims= $650. A good down payment on my own machine. About 1/10 of a good used machine online.
